I’m currently spiralling into a full-blown situationship with Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew. Light on the ice with an extra splash of cream. I’ve never been a coffee girl. Tea has always been my beverage of choice. But now? I can’t get enough of this deliciousness. Something else I'm becoming addicted to... asking for help. I've always been the helper, not the helpee. Somehow, I’d internalized this idea that asking for help is a sign of weakness. But only when I do it 🙄(gotta love a little ego cosplaying as humility). So, anyway, I’ve been practicing asking for help, which looks like: – Signing up for the program instead of piecing it together solo Turns out, people who help others aren’t exempt from needing help. We’re just the ones most likely to resist it. So just in case you need to hear it: Helping doesn’t disqualify you from needing help. So yeah. Cold brew, extra cream. And apparently… asking for help. Who even am I? Xo, Ps — If you're feeling inspired to ask for a little help yourself, I've got a few options for you below. |
